This was the culmination of Small Nose's project:
" We Aren’t that Different "
which saw three performances over the month of October 2017, but this project ran for over 6 months thanks to 'Peterborough Presents'
Peterborough Presents supported this project so we could run workshops in different schools within the Peterborough area. We used our creative style of Play, games, and this time some masks to explore and develop material for a devised piece focusing on Black History.
Jason, from Small Nose, ran the project and made David Olusoga’s ‘Black and British – A Forgotten History’ his go-to source of research. All along the way he has worked closely with Bernadetta Omondi to develop this project.
In the devising week he was joined by Keely Mills, Mark Curtis and Jeffrene Francis-Williams from the Peterborough areas to help write and create the piece.
